Oh change it is a comin'. . .

This Fall is bringing so much change to my life, its so exciting but scary at the same time.

This is my favorite time of the year and I am glad the season is changing with me. I love Fall, its my favorite season because of the changing leaves, crisp cool air and we get to wear sweaters and be all cozy! This makes me wish I were in Indiana to go to Anderson's Orchard and get a hot, steaming cup of apple cider. *Sigh* The first day it drops below 60 I am throwing on my UGGs and going antique shopping! I have totally turned into my mother with her weird need to go to buy someone's old stuff.

But the main reason I love this time of the year now is I just found out I am pregnant! So I don't have to deal with the hot summer in Florida and be pregnant! I won't be miserable! WOO HOO! So far at 9 weeks I am doing great! No morning sickness, no weird cravings, no aversions, its been really easy so far! We went to our first prenatal appt. on Tuesday and heard the heartbeat and got to see Baby Bean! It was so amazing! Jason is so ecstatic and we can't be more happy. But being soon-to-be parents is kinda scary. I don't care how much I have talked about wanting a baby, I didn't expect all the emotions and the doubt that would come along with it. Its shocking that no matter how "ready" you think you are, you really are ready. But I know its just a stage of adjustment and acknowledgment that comes with the becoming a parent.

So here goes nothing, on to the next stage of our life, parenthood. I am really looking forward to this new adventure and to meet our Baby Bean. Its so exciting! I can't wait.

I feel like Walter Matthau . . . .

Lately things have started to bug me more then they use to and maybe its because I have grown up a bit or maybe people have become more self centered, which ever it is, it have been aggravating me.

Considering this is my second time posting on here I feel bad that its a rant but its got to get out there. So if you don't want to read a rant you might want to go ahead and close this out right now. But who knows maybe you feel the same way. . .so read away! :)

So I just got married a year ago. We have a home, both have full time jobs and I go to school full time, so we are loaded with responsibilities, right? So why is it that we are the bad people because we understand that we have responsibilities and take care of those before going out drinking and partying EVERY night? And when we do go out our single friends they want us to be their "wing man/woman"? Or we get crap about the fact that we NEVER come out? WE are out, enjoy the time with your friends. If you are going out as much as you say you are then chase girls when you are out without us. Ask your buddies to be your wing man. It is not our job to spend the nights that we do go out to work for you to find a one-night stand or relationship. Somehow Jason and I found each other out there, created a relationship and feel in love. If we can do it without your help, you can go out and do it without our help. And just maybe when we invite you to come out with us to let's say, happy hour, you don't blow us off because there aren't single girls there or its too early for you to go out. Its such crap and you know it. Friends should not care what the circumstances are, they should want to spend time with you.

And another funny thing, friends should want to be your friends no matter who is around, right? So why can't all your friends hang out together? I invite all of my friends to everything no matter who is there so are we not cool enough for your other friends? Because really, if we aren't good enough when other people are around, please don't waste my time. Trust me its much easier just to end it now then down the road. Just rip the band-aid off now. Plus I don't need that crap in my life. I am a good person, I care about my friends and go way out of my way for them. I would much appreciate the honesty. Plus I always find out when people lie to me.

Next annoyance, friends with children. I know you all are happy, that things are wonderful, your kids are wonderful and life is just about perfect for you. I am happy for you, trust me. I think having babies and raising a family is amazing, we are planning on starting our family soon, just not right this minute. BUT, quit giving me advice! I don't want to wait another year, I know what I want. Oh and I don't want to hear about the birth. I am already squeamish. I have seen two live births, I am pretty sure I am good with the details. I love you and I am happy you have these precious gifts but that does not make you an expert on my life or raising a child and have they have no influence on my decisions. If I ask your opinion that's great but please leave the unsolicited advice to yourself. But here is a piece of advice that I would like to extend to my parent friends, teach your children manners. I don't know where that was lost along the way but I have noticed more and more that children have lost their respect for adults and other people. I was raised to be respectful, now that I am an adult I have noticed that many children have lost all form of manners. Quit being their friend, actually discipline your children.

Another area where I don't need advice, religion. I have my own beliefs and you have yours. Please leave them that way. And no mine is not Christianity, so please do not assume and please don't preach. I have had enough preaching by now that I know what I do want and what I don't. There are reasons I believe what I do, if you would like to sit down and talk to me about them, come on. I don't mind reasonable discussions, actually they are quite informative, but the second you start preaching please understand I will turn off my hearing to you and politely end the conversation. You will not change me or my beliefs.

Lastly, if you are over the age of 18, you are now officially an adult! YAY congrats. . .enjoy your new found freedom, have some fun, be stupid etc. BUT, remember that you are an adult. This means that no one else is to blame for what you do and the world does not revolve around you. You are just another person in this world, no better and no worse then the person next to you. Please remember this. Selfish, rude and stupid attitudes are not cool neither is acting like those idiots on Jersey Shore. You are have your entire life in front of you. . .and karma is a bitch. So the next time you are out at a bar, in the shortest skirt you can squeeze on, just remember some of those "old" people you roll your eyes at and act like you are better then, maybe your boss when you go looking for a big-kid job or your banker when you go for a loan or even your doctor/dentist. Just remember that. And once again, karma is a BITCH and well so am I. ;)

So that's my rant. . .not too bad I don't think. . .
